Seems a bunch of big wig lenders pumped out a load of loans to poor candidates by allowing them in on the cheap. Now we have to all pay to bail out the lendees who couldn't read the small print? I can't really believe these corporations are gonna do the heavy lifting. They already hedged and sold off the debt (overseas) so how can we get them to help? Are they going to cut a big check and say "Oops. Sorry. Irresponsible. You got us?"
They came dressed as sheep to sell sheep on the American Dream. Recession or not, the overextended public at ground zero of this big boom are just as responsible.
I have some socialist tendencies overall. I'm next to the idea of being a "have" and will pay a disproportionate share to help solve some problems with which the government needs to be involved. I'm not excited about helping to pay for this corporate boondoggle.
Gotta go hump and pay for my own mortgage, so I'll have to bone up later. Anyone with expertise that can help me out with some links?
