pats` pickem(+105) at home?.......I know they`re struggling...but when they come out of it,it`s probably going to be mt vesuvius-esque.....this sure looks like a great set-up for brady and the pats to shine....at home..just when folks are writing them off(much like the packers the other day)......the bengals may well have lost in week 1 vs the ravens if they don`t get a bit lucky on a long bomb late in the game that was totally screwed up by the ravens` woeful secondary....the ravens came back from a 15-0 deficit(I think in part because the offense was getting it`s sea legs under new coordinator kubiak)
too obvious?.....do people think that the pats just fell off a cliff?...I don`t think brady`s done and I expect a serious effort at home after getting embarrassed in a prime time away game...
which brings me back to the ravens at the colts....the ravens secondary is beat up,relatively young and inexperienced...in their first 3 games they didn`t really face this level of passing attack(certainly not on the road)...I don`t know how they`re going to cover those colt receivers with webb incapacitated....
chykie brown and matt elam couldn`t cover me...seriously..elam`s a midget and brown looks palsied most of the time......
the ravens` offense on the other hand is clicking under kubiak like never before....kubiak`s system seems to mesh perfectly with flacco....look at the scoring drives last week vs the panthers...

TD @ 11:34
Lorenzo Taliaferro runs for 1 yard (Justin Tucker kick is good).
Drive: 12 plays, 80 yards in 6:56.
the colts defense isn`t going to be mistaken for the seahawks and without mathis providing qb pressure,i think the ravens will put up some points...these new scheme(s) from kubiak are making Justin forsett and rookie Taliaferro look like larry csonka and mercury morris...they`re ripping off chunks of yardage and with owen daniels, steve & torrey smith and with our ivy league fullback/hback jusczyk catching passes out of the backfield, the offense actually looks better than at any time since I`ve been watching the team...they don`t seem to stall in the red zone nearly as much as the offense always has...
throw in the fact that this will be played indoors and the ravens have the best long distance fg kicker in the game in Justin tucker and you have to believe that the offense will put up some points....
what I`m saying is that even though the over is around 47,it certainly looks like a consideration..or at least some teaser fodder....weather won`t be an issue and both teams` offenses are really clicking....the defenses are a bit of a ???
not touting..... just throwing out some observations....
