Phillies W
Mariners L
Red Sox W
Cards W
D'Backs L

Everything else got rained out.

I've been thinking about YYZ's comments about "commitment to the streak" and realized that the commitment is really to a profit. Therefore, a common sense tightener can be used. eg not playing favs above -180 or so and maybe not even betting against Kershaw.

Personally, I will continue to play those big favs on the RL and look hard before playing against the best pitchers. This is almost like . . . handicapping. I have so little skill at real 'capping but I'll try this while still posting all the games.

TUESDAY

(Red Sox postponed--would have been double b/o Orioles losing streak)
Rangers+150 double b/o Rays losing streak
Blue Jays -1' runs (or -200) if you choose
Mariners +105
Yankees either -330 or RL
Rockies +110
Cards +115
Brewers -130 (I like this one best)
Padres +120

Computer issues today so the lines above are not exact at all.

I wonder what the average line is on a team streaking 5 or more games? Surely the more a team wins, the higher the price on them?

I just can't see bowing off of a team doing exactly what you are hoping they will do.

YYZ, perhaps at lines above -200 the law of diminishing returns comes into play.

The hope would be that other aspects of setting the line will be a countervaling force. Obviously, pitching and home field.

But, as you're suggesting, having won games 3 and 4 in the streak, it might be "house money" at risk. I would like to know what the average line is on the 5th (or 6th) game of a streak.

If you mean Monday, it seem like you have a few errors listed:

Yankees? Neither they or Marlins qualify

Mariners? Neither they or Astros qualify

Rangers double? They don't qualify but tb Is a go against
