It was pointed out yesterday by gman2[doing the unthinkable and putting a medium bet on kansas city tonight. byrd has no business being a 2/1 favorite over anybody, even a triple-A team. indians never have an easy time in kansas city. even last year year when they were red hot they needed comebacks to beat the royals in a handful of games. as crazy as this sounds, really feel like this might be the best of any mlb game tonight. yike.] that Clev. also had a gas can starting for them and surely KC will win some of these matchups and or only fall short by only 1 run.
The fact remains their schedule is loaded w/teams w/better pitching staffs from top to bottom and unless the Royals get some steady starts from 3 of 4 starters they will continue to take a boat load of whippings.
History tells this club will continue to stink..With 1 winning season in the last 11 seasons the loses will continue to mount.
Can it turn around? Sure it can.But until this club shows some evidence of it they are a fade.
