Carpenter came up big as expected last night and we ride a 4 game winning streak into today. Todays early play is :

The Whitesox have taken the first 2 of this series easily with great piching and good hitting. However, I just dont see them sweeping DET in their house with Penny on the mound. He is sporting a 1.3 WHIP recently vs. Humbers 1.5 and has a 1.08 whip vs the CWS in his career. When you look at the ERA's of these guys you would think to back Humber, but Penny is truly the better pitcher. DET will not let a sweep happen this afternoon.
I have a lean on tonights ESPN matchup but want to see how this one shapes up before posting. Goodluck
