The Houston Rockets try to make it two straight wins this evening when they continue their five-game road trip against the Boston Celtics at TD Banknorth Garden.

On Saturday, Tracy McGrady returned to the lineup, scoring a game-high 35 points, including 30 in the second half, as Houston toppled the New Jersey Nets, 99-91, Continental Airlines Arena.

McGrady missed the Rockets' last three games due to back spasms. He played in the Rockets' season opener, a win over the Sacramento Kings. He was originally expected to miss up to three weeks of action.

McGrady also pulled down 10 rebounds and was 4-of-5 from beyond the arc, as Houston snapped a three-game skid. Yao Ming added 18 points and David Wesley netted a season-high 15 points.

The Rockets, who will also visit Minnesota and San Antonio on their trek, are 1-1 away from home this season.

Boston, meanwhile, comes into tonight's affair on the heels of an 103-82 home- loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Friday.

Paul Pierce scored 20 points and hauled in 10 rebounds for Boston, which has dropped three of four since beating the New York Knicks in its season-opener.

Al Jefferson contributed 12 points in the setback.

Boston, which will wrap up a three-game homestand tonight, is 2-2 in its arena this season.

The Rockets split their two matchups with the Celtics last season and have won seven of the last nine meetings. Houston has also won four straight and eight of its last 11 in Beantown.

*Some trends to consider*

*Houston is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games*
*Houston is 7-2 ATS in its last 9 games against Boston*
*Houston is 8-1 ATS in its last 9 away games*
*Houston is 6-1 ATS in its last 7 games after scoring 90 to 100 points...Scored 99 points last night against the Nets*

*Boston is 2-4 ATS in its last 6 games*
*Boston is 2-7 ATS in its last 9 games against Houston*
*Boston is 4-12 ATS in its last 16 home games*
*Boston is 1-5 ATS in its last 6 home games against Houston*

I like the Rockets today..despite playing back to back they look revitalized with T-Mac back in the line up,he looked solid last night.
