4 Plays for the week:

Houston -8.5 over NY Jets. 10 Units

My favorite game line so far this season and probably all season. Houston's lines have pretty much been a gift so far as they have covered every game by at least 5 points, including road victories at Denver and Jacksonville. I think this is a great line because while I get that the Jets are desperate, they literally have absolutely no one to throw the ball to and a poor QB to boot. Houston has annihilated bad teams this year beating Jax by 20, Tennessee by 24 and Miami by 20. Houston has a very strong running game even if Tate does not back up Foster. I think this game will be a lot like San Fran-Jets game of last week, where the Jets struggle to score as Houston is #1 in the NFL is points allowed and the Texans offense puts up 27 points or so. The only game Houston has played this year that was a close was the Denver game, and after 3 quarters, Denver was down by 20 and Peyton Manning made it close at the end. Houston will win in a romp.

Washington/Atlanta OVER 51 points (5 Units)

With Garcon back and healthy, Washington's offense should be potent again. Their defense on the other hand is terrible and that should continue today against an Atlanta team which has scored at least 27 points in every game this season. This should be a high scoring affair as every one of the Redskins games this year has played over the total with 3 of those games getting to at least 59 points.

New Orleans -3.5 over San Diego (4 Units)

New Orleans played their best game of the season last week but still came up short vs a very good team and an elite QB. Fortunately this week I dont think they face either. San Diego to me is fraud of sorts, playing only 1 team that can actually score on offense and Rivers is not an elite QB. I think New Orleans comes out fast at home in this huge game for them, which takes San Diego's running game out of the picture and puts the ball in Rivers hands, where I think he will fail to keep up. This is the game where I think the Chargers get exposed and New Orleans finally puts it all together and wins by 10+.

2 team teaser: Denver +12.5/Minny +.5 (3 Units)

Denver is a solid team and the Patriots have too many problems in their secondary to blow out the Broncos. Minnesota at home against a Tennessee team starting a backup QB, is a great matchup. The Vikings should stiffle Houston's running game and force Hassleback into mistakes again this week.

Good luck this week with your plays.
