Updated season record: 6-8 for -5.4 units. Small losing day yesterday but still positive for the week. Two decent plays today:
Texas A&M -140 (vs. Baylor) for 4 units ? Baylor continues to struggle offensively. Today they face Junior Alex Wilson of A&M. Wilson despite a 1-2 record, has a 0.96 ERA in 18 2/3 IP and the two losses both came in 2-0 games. Baylor sends Aaron Miller to the mound. Miller, the Bears normal rightfielder, has been used as their mid-week starter and is making his first weekend start. Miller is 3.48 ERA in 10 1/3 IP. Miller is decent, but the pitching matchup heavily favors Wilson and A&M. Combined with Baylor?s struggles offensively, makes this a really good play in my opinion.
Georgia -130 (@ Bama) for 3 units ? Simply don?t think it?s possible for Alabama to sweep Georgia. Senior Jason Leaver (2.92 ERA in 12 1/3 IP) gets the start for Georgia. Bama sends Junior Austin Graham (7.71 ERA in 9 1/3 IP) to the mound. Graham was roughed up in his only start this season against Nicholls State.
