Undefeated ... Yes, Good Team ... Yes, Great Team ...NOT A CHANCE. Dont let Pitt's record decieve you , they are not great. They have played three tuff games, Wisky, Depaul, and I guess we will be kind and toss in S Carolina. Other than that and none of those three are barnburners, my almamater and local team have done little to nothing to impress me. Well, I will give them credit after being down by 13 to Depaul they did show some character.
That said, the lack of competition early, each year they go 12-0 to start the season against BAD teams, catches up with them in the Big Dance. With the new Big East, it will catch them way before March and sooner or later Pitt will start building skills in non conference as opposed to going 12-0 against the lap dogs of Division I.
This line should be 7-8 in my opinion. I am betting the Panthers get crushed on Sunday.
