...well, Sunday and Tuesday really...

Clips and Memphis...who actually wants to win a game and get the 5th seed?

I can only imagine that both teams would rather play Denver than Dallas in the first round.

Obviously playing each other on Tuesday complicates things even further, but without going out on too much of a limb, I suspect that Houston will win today (46-46 at HT now), and Seattle just might sneak home tomorrow...

Thoughts?

Well, I got the second half of that right...

Clippers "let" Seattle run over them at home...

...now, the way it has panned out, I'm totally excpecting the Clips to lay down in Memphis on Tuesday...there's no way they want to win this one. ;)

You can bet

You can bet

that David Stern made a phone call to Mike Dunleavy (Clips coach) and told him "no funny business"...

check out the box score of the clips game yesterday - they played some guys very long minutes that I thought were retired (Vin Baker?)

how is this any worse then the guys locked into position resting there best players? The idea is to win it all. If the outcome of the game doesn't effect you and in fact maybe helps you if you lose, why not rest your star players. Why tire out guys you don't have to to put yourself in a worse position. I see nothing wrong with this at all.
