MONTREAL ..plus 105....surprised i dont see more people on this game...montreal looking to avoid a sweep against an unproven pitcher at plus money...i 'll play it....hernandez hasv great numbers vs. the mets...and for those that point to the return of Piazza today as a reason to play the mets ...check out his lifetime numbers vs. Hernandez...1 for 11 ..0.91 avg..no homers....now hernandez may very well be rusty today but i think he is worth a shot at plus money...especially with them trying to avoid a sweep ..its difficult to sweep a team...

2.) CUBS...80 to win $50...i rarely play anything over 150 at a $100....so big juice i'll play for to win $50..so my dollar play on the above dog i still come out with a profit....if the cubs lose...

now to my reasoning...this is complete pitching mismatch...Paul Wilsons career numbers in the day are not good...

5.74 era ...1.56 whip and 257 BAA...
vs the cubs 0-2 5.40 ..1.20....214 BAA


wood's day numbers are decent...era o.k. 3.63..whip 1.30...and BAA is very good .169...

vs. cicnci 7-2 ...2.33./ whip 1.11/ bAA .164

just think wood is poised to have a great year this seasons...and should have a great day today against a cinci lineup that is missing griffey....even though he hasnt done much in two year...they have to be a little disheartened

troy O'leary should get in the cubs lineup today somewhere his career numbers against Wilson ...3 for 6 ..1 homer...3 RBI

4.) zona/colorado over 10 plus 110....yes schilling is on the mound and yes zona 's bats are quiet as have been rockies in this series...but think one of these games games over in this series ..

schilling ...not much negative stuff you can say about this guy...against colorado however especially at coors there are some flaws....

vs. rockies..10-3 record...4.16 ERA...1.34 whip...but a 277 BAA..thats high for this guy....

now at coors...5.11 era ...1.54 whip....312 BAA..that is simply unheard of for this guy..

jennings ..at home ....6.24 era ...1,78 whip and a 294 BAA...

day games 5.31/1.85 whip/274 baa

and in one game vs. zona 4.50 era/2.50 whip and .344 BAA

with both pitchers around .300 BAA at coors ...and with the first two games going under...i'll play the over 10 at plus money today...

5.) SF/CHIsox parlay...you wont see me parlay much...because the odds of losing a side are and thus losing the play altogether are too high for me...but when we have big faves like this ...that i think have good chance of winning i'll try it...

for those of us who capped bases last year we all know the brewers struggle vs lefties....they make chitbums look like Cy Young...dont see anything in this lineup that improved thier chances of hitting lefties...they were a play against for me almost evrygame they played aginst lefties last year...but too early in the season to lay that much juice...too many unknowns...they may start hitting them who knows?....

detroit cant hit...and thier woes vs. lefties are documented as well...i just cant justify laying a bet with that kind of juice with a rookie on the mound..we dont know how he is going to react to the BIGS at home...could feel antsy/pressure ETC...and detroit could score a couple early....who knows...also see NDNFAN's thread on this game..great writeup

thats why im parlaying the two....if i lose its only a flat bet and wont get hurt....just cant see laying the juice here for the above reasons...
