Rider -3 over Marist ****
Rider is so up and down..won 5 str. MAAC games and lose the next 2 at home...the loss to Canisius was ok but losing to Manhattan wasn't..they did beat Siena,Man,LoyMd,and Iona before..they have decent fds in Myles and Stewart..Thompson is pretty good and the Johnnies transfer Lindsey has been inconsistent..got hurt but is back..he is capable of taking a game over...Rider has dominated this series except for lyr's game @ Marist when they lost by 20...in last 8 times Bronco's have won by 10,13,4,22,14,and 16..Have won 9 out of 10...and a few weeks later in the MAAC tourney they beat the Foxes by 13...Rider is in the middle of the pack in the MAAC standing fighting for a good ceed...they are a good defensive team ranking 3rd in FG%,1st in 3 pt FG%,2nd in blocked shots and 1st in steals...they have 6'10 Ezuma who can't score but jams the middle...Foxes are 5-17 and 2-9 in the MAAC...lost to lowly Peter in OT the other nite...they have 2 scorers in Price and Lewis who avg 14-15 pts...but Price reinjured his ankle and might not play...Kemp has regressed at the post...they have no bench what so ever..Bowie was nice but has had a concussion and they might red shirt him..losing him really hurt...if the foxes play their 2-3 look for Riders Pereira to come off the bench and shoot some 3's... Foxes coach Martin is gone...they should of fired him last yr...small crowd today...Rider wins this by 6-10 pts on the rd...

Jaspers with Alvardo back and Brown inside should win this by double digits...Peter can't score and MC plays pretty good def.
Went to the Denver-Texas St game yesterday...maybe about 400 people there...Denver has a nice team...Scott runs that motion Princeton offense...back door cuts all day andTexas St was chasing....it was fun sitting right behind the bench...no true pt gd but passing,cutting,screening...it was a basketball clinic.....lay up after lay up...I wanted to go over and tell Davalos the Tex coach at half time to go to zone...you can't gd these kids...but since I had some dinero on the game I couldn't say anything...I have been on the other end of a motion offense like this...my kids chased other teams from behind...and every ones pointing the finger at each other at who has that guy...so I would go to a zone 1-3-1 and say.." beat me with your jumpers because you ain't getting one f..... lay up again". Still lost the game but a layup has about a 98% FG chance...
