Jaspers play tough defense but so does the stags...Brown played big inside yest...keeping him off the MAAC 1st team has him playing even better ...
Vermont 13 over MB Balt ***
Handled them 2 times during the yr...MB upset Hartford yest and that has made their season...Catamounts can defend and rebound.Getting Apfield and Russin back has helped them on offense.Voelkel can't score but avgs 6 pts,9 bds and 4 apg's.Vermont beat Md by 15 and 12....MD lost their last 6 of 7 games before the tourney...
Stony Brook -4.5 over Albany ***
Albany beat Maine by 1 yesterday in a hard fought game...SB rolled over Binghamton.SB has had Albany's number winning last 7 in a row and 11 of 13...SB has the best front court in the conf..they are not looking ahead to play Vermont....this is their season...they beat Albany 65-49 @Albany where they are playing today...Brenton is one of the top players in the conf and Warney is one of the best freshman in the country...Pats have Black at gd who is dangerous but SB wins this and covers...
