UTA -2.5 over Rice ****
Mavs have won 3 in a row..beat Ohio St and Memphis on the road...terrible shooting team..winning with solid defense....Hervey playing good scoring and rebounding...the other starters all avg's double digits,,,Bilbao can play better.. Rice lost to Fresno,San Fran,and Cal by 17,26,and 32....think Mavs are on a roll and if they ever get their offense together this team could be tough..
USC -4.5 over Monmouth ***
These guys played last week with USC winning 101-91...Robinson had 28 pts but USC are bigger and more athletic..it was a 2 pt game with a minute or two but USC hit a few 3's to pull away...the key to this game is if USC's top scorer plays..he was out with a nose injury and listed questionable...if he is out will pass but if he plays think the Trojans know the hawks number now..
