I am not inclined to make wagers this late in the season. To me, there are very few opportunities that have decent value.
Today, though.......I think there is one game.
Detroit is fighting to keep from one of baseball's most unwanted records: Most losses by a team in a single season. I believe that is the only thing that has sustained their team over the last week of play. They have played well, and scored plenty of runs over that period of time.
Minnesota has not had any reason to play ball this weekend, and that continues today. Perhaps they might want a win heading into post season, but I don't think that has much bearing on today's game.
The total on today's game is at 8' runs. That seems very low. I will couple that with the fact that Detroit is playing well, and dig out a nice "overdog" play today.
