ohio state moneyline (+135) over texas tech
ucla moneyline (+120) over oregon

buckeyes have had a handful of cupcakes at home. dont necessarily agree with it, but its o'briens style (build confidence early in season for young guys). last time bucks faced a marquee name at home, georgia tech ran em out of the gym. chance to atone for that here. texas tech qualifies in all kinds of negative categories.....laying points...on the road...in a non-conference game...with conference play starting in a few days...this is a spot where tons of teams fail... and texas tech is garbage away from lubbock anyways... theyve never been a good traveler under knight... in fact, theyve been downright terrible in some gms (see at smu this year). ohio state wins this game.

oregon is going to have a tough time sweeping their los angeles trip. on friday, they faced a usc team that abhors defense and is willing to go up and down the floor. today, however, all those clean looks and 3pters should be tougher to come by for the ducks. bruins have had their share of clunkers this year but the one thing that has been consistent is their defensive effort under howland. been impressed with that. oregons been away from home for quite awhile. havent played a home game since 12/17. this is their 4th straight gm away from mcarthur. bruins stand up and take this one as well
