disappointing 3-3 yesterday, posted plays 7-6 overall. her's today's first play:

neb +5: altman's jays are a three-point shooting, full-court pressing kind of team, and this year they just haven't been able to pull it off with the loss of 4 year starting pg josh dotzler. he was the straw that stirred the bluejays' drink when it came to full court pressure. now creighton plays point guard by committee, using a rotation of three players- the result is the jays average more turnovers and less steals than their opponents, an anomaly for an altman team. huskers will have the best pg on the court in lance jeter, a smooth juco transfer that has 22 assists and just 12 t/os over 6 games. in fact nebraska's team a/to ratio is a respectable 1.32 compared to creighton's 1.02. when a team shoots 25 treys a game and their leading scorer is their center at 11.3 ppg - well - there's your sign.

how things back in paducah buddy? i've mentioned before on these pages i spent a year in exile in owensboro.

ohio +14: just a spot play here. tulsa just off a big home win over ok stat, sellout game, 100 sro tickets sold yadayadayada. now exam break starts tomorrow at tulsa, look for much smaller crowd today. meanwhile, ohio off disappointing loss at marshall 8 days ago at the beginning of their exam week, now fresh and ready to right course. btw bobcats waxed hurricane in athens last year.
