split out two plays last week with a moneyline. guess that means no losing nfl weeks to date

i am playing all three games with the majority of each bet on the moneyline. i had good success moneylining nfl dogs last season and many great weeks were had with ugly, no-way-can-they-possibly-win dogs.

buffalo (+220)
buffalo (+6)

cleveland (+145)
cleveland (+3)

miami (+220)
miami (+6)

a lot has already been written about the buffalo/new england matchup. my annotation: buffalo has the better defense, and they have allowed < 14ppg at home the L2 seasons. pats get all the defensive hype, but the bills unit is better. bills are 2 field goals away from being 2-0. im not saying they should be 2-0, im simply saying that they very easily could be. jacksonville at 3-0 is basically "buffalo with some luck". as far as bledsoe goes, i dont need him to throw for 300. i just want him to manage the game and allow his D to control the game and put the offense in good spots. also, when it comes down to it, nfl guys are a prideful group (probably moreso than any other sport). theres no way buffalo is going to just let a divisional rival come into their stadium and shit on them by waltzing to an nfl record 18th straight win, especially with buffalo having 2 weeks to prepare. if we dont look back on this game later in the season as having been one of buffalo's better efforts, then ill be surprised.

ill give the clowns one more shot this week. its only week four, but this is a must-win game for cleveland and it has nothing to do with the division race. it has to do with butch davis proving he has some kind of plan and he needs to prove his players still buy into what hes selling them. fans and media are just WAITING for browns to lose to washington at home because a bad loss could put davis' job security in some jeopardy. but one thing i can say for butch during his tenure: he has a way of getting his guys to play for him when things look bleakest. hes going to need to have them do it again. suggs is back and 100% for the browns and that should give their offense an enormous lift. garcia has been vocal about wanting the offensive playcalling to be more aggressive early in the game (in an attempt to avoid the early holes browns fell into against cowboys and giants) and wants the offense to open up vertically and use the pass to set up the run (instead of the other way around). browns do get washington coming in off the short week and an emotional loss. davis would be very wise to do whatever is takes to win this game -- otherwise, it could be the beginning of the end for him. this could be the single most boring football game of the weekend and i dont suggest any sane person to tune in, but its one the clowns should find a way to win.

playing miami on an inside info tip from highroller. and while that should be good enough reasoning for anyone betting the contest, well......i suppose i can elucidate my selection. i cant trust the jets to lay points on the road.....to anyone. theyre one of those teams that plays up and down to their competition. im not big on capping history, but there is something to be said for the way they (nyj) routinely fall into lulls vs inferior teams. last season on the road, they had three very lame efforts vs houston, oakland, and buffalo when everyone thought they were 'gonna K-I-L-L' those garbage teams. miamis defense is still formidable. and heres one thing i think is a little overlooked: miami has been all out of whack with their schedule the first three weeks. all these hurricanes and weather problems threw them out of whack for week 1 (rescheduled for a saturday), then a road night game in week 2, then a time change from 1pm to an unexpected night game in week 3 in terrible weather. this is week four and they FINALLY have a normal nfl week, and some stability. nothing is expected of them. but i think they come up with a good effort vs an inconsistent new york squad

Gman great info

Im from the miami area and all the talk here is that Fieldler's confidence is at an all time high following the DEFENSE PLAYERS support on him being the starter.

Miami"s run defense should contain Curtis Martin and force a couple of turnovers in the game.ALL they need from JAY is steady QB play
