a smart man would probably avoid playing these games today. my ass is still sore from the reaming i've taken the last few days though... i'm not thinking straight.

buffalo (-8) 1 unit. i have to think the bills will be playing a lot harder than the colts today. fitzpatrick is probable.

cleveland (-1.5) 1 unit. lowering this play because of the line movement. sadly, i still really like the browns. they've won 3 straight games, and covered 6 straight. jacksonville has covered 2 of its last 10 games.

dallas (-3) 2 units. those goddamned cowboys. so much talent, but you never know when they'll show it. if they had a decent head coach, they would be a dominant team. it can be such a crapshoot to bet their games. about the only way to gage how they'll play is how much pressure is on them. today, i think the pressure is off. they are in the playoffs no matter what. and they're not getting a first round bye either way. so unless jerry jones has told phillips 'you're fired if you lose this game,' i think the cowboys will be ok.

detroit (+3) 1 unit. too many people on chicago. the bears are 1-6 straight up and ATS on the road this year, with the one win coming at seattle.

tampa (+1.5) 1 unit. again, too many people on atlanta. tampa has covered 5 straight against atlanta.

seattle M/L 1/2.2 units. after a great run, stick a fork in the titans; they're done. the spread has not factored in a single seahawks game all year. watch it happen today. the smart play is probably seattle plus the points.
