I am under the weather so these will be brief.

-Avs are playing their second 3 in 4 with 2 days of rest in between and ripe for a letdown after the big game with Detroit yesterday. Caps are seriously injured with Miller, Witt and Jagr still hurting. Kolzig's save percentage is around 86% over his last 5 starts while Aebischer's in his last 5 is around 93%.

-Sens and Detroit both play back to back, historically a strong under play. Additionally, Wings have allowed 2 or less goals in 9 of 12 and Sens have allowed 2 or less in 6 of 8. Detroit has won 11 of 12 while Ottawa has won 5 of 6.

-Calgary and Anaheim are both back to back tonight, another good under scenario historically. Both teams are playing 3 in 4 but Anaheim, I believe for the first time for any team this season, is playing 4 in 5. I know this is common in the NBA, but I honestly cannot remember off the top of my head another team having to play 4 in 5 in the NHL this season. If McClennan goes for Calgary, he has a save % below 87% in his last 5 starts. Gerber's is nearly 94% for Anaheim.
