Tanaka is no where close to normal.
Buch is looking sharp.
Red Sox are crushing the ball.
Yankees are STILL looking OLD.

Line opens short the Yankees a small fav -109 its bounced around with the RSox becoming a -107 fav now its back to the Yankees @ -106.

04/12 01:58 PM -102 -106

04/12 11:07 AM +102 -110
04/12 11:07 AM +101 -109
04/12 11:04 AM +104 -112
04/12 11:04 AM +104 -112
04/12 10:27 AM +102 -110
04/12 10:02 AM +100 -108
04/12 09:17 AM -101 -107
04/12 02:40 AM -107 -101
04/12 01:12 AM -104 -104
04/12 12:29 AM -101 -107
04/12 12:29 AM +104 -112
04/12 12:19 AM -102 -106
04/11 11:38 PM +100 -108
04/11 11:37 PM +102 -110
04/11 10:04 PM -104 -104
04/11 08:02 PM +101 -109

So I hate to believe the Yankees are the play but with the MAJOR line moves so early in the season on games...If the RSox are the play than why aren't they a -120 fav or more....

My other issue is Bovada is holding tight with RSox -109 while all other books have Yankees as the fav.

Around the forums....RSox overload. :0corn

Pinnacle 20 min. ago had the Yankees -105, now they have -110. There has been small movements in the line throughout the day but nothing major. I think the line was set because of Tanaka and an anti-Yankee home sweep. Buch looked reinvigorated from last seasons disaster giving up three hits and nine strikeouts through seven innings opening day against Philly, but that's the fly in the ointment, it was light hitting Philly, but then additionally, Yankees have not been hitting the ball or producing runs either.

It's hard to say Boston would overlook a national television game against the Yankees, but they are opening up tomorrow at Fenway on a very quick turnaround probably getting into Boston at 4 AM.
As you stated Tanaka look terrible in every way possible, most importantly no velocity in his opener.
Personally I'm not going to play this game, lots of people probably looking to bail out on a Sunday night, I think that would be very dicey, a nationally televised Boston/Yankees game could fall either way especially like I said Boston at worst finishing this road trip 4-2 heading to Fenway for opening day. Yankees staring at a 1-5 opening homestand will be looking for a sweep saving win. There will be better games tomorrow.
Gun to my head I'd take the over 7
good luck whatever you play guys.

7-0 beat down but that means NOTHING in this rivalry.
