Boise (26.5) over New Mex St
This year, the Broncos have outscored opponents 236-75 and rank sixth in the nation in scoring. They pounded Louisiana Tech 55-14 at home last Saturday. After going 0-12 in 2005, the Aggies have two wins this season, but both came against Division I-AA schools. New Mexico State hasn't beaten a Division I-A team since Nov. 6, 2004, when it defeated Middle Tennessee State 44-10.The Broncos rank 18th nationally in total offense, averaging 413.7 yards per game. However, it may be their 13th-ranked defense that gets a workout. New Mexico State is third in the country in total offense, averaging 502.6 yards per game. Quarterback Chris Holbrook is the nation's leading passer, throwing for 410.6 yards per game. Boise State, though, has a balanced offense, with running back Ian Johnson rushing for 806 yards and 10 touchdowns while Zabransky has rushed for five scores. Boise State WRs Jerard Rabb, Legedu Naanee and Drisan James often get lost in the shuffle when discussing the Boise State offense, but this trio can blow this game wide open. The Aggies have one of the worst pass defenses in the nation (112th in the nation) and should have a nightmare of a time keeping the Bronco passing game in check. I like the offense to run by while the defense will run over this team. The only way Boise doesn't roll is if they are looking ahead and I do not think they do that tonight.
Cheers
