Write up #1

Alabama St. will try to keep the score low and A&M will not. One team had an average score of 110 per game while the other averaged 130. The book just split the difference since they only thing they knew about these teams is that they are probably both in Alabama. Neither team shoots it particularly well but there will be enough points off of turnovers and defensive lapses for this to get into the mid-60's.

BG, respect your opinions in the forum a lot. Just wondering how strongly you feel about these plays. I know nothing about these teams other than what the results are. thanks.

Write up #2: NW St. has been a scoring machine lately and gives up 72.5 ppg. Teams shoot 45% against them, 51% in the last 5 games. SE La. prefers a slower pace but has been over this number in 3 out of their last 4 games. The first time they met this season, SE got down 17 in the first half and lost by two. They only scored 19 in the first so they will be focused on getting the offense going early. There are too many athletes and big bodies on the floor for this one to stay under.

Didn't see your post until the end of the A&M game. I like both plays (obviously I really like the first one now!) and played them both my usual bet size. The second game will be all about who controls the pace. Since the game is at NW St. the crowd may help get this game at the pace NW St. wants.

Final Sunday Plays:

Final Sunday Plays:

NW St./SE La. over 66 (second half): Both teams got great looks but couldn't finish. They will struggle to get the over 130 but the game should be close enough to justify some fouling at the end. That will push this one over 66 for the second half.

Wisconsin/Illinois under 127: Fatigue play on this one. The Big 10 tournament championship is nice but these teams are in the tourney, Illinois is getting a #1 seed regardless of what happens and neither team will be interested in pushing the ball up the court. This one should stay in the high 50's as they play at a comfortable pace and try to control the clock.
