Wisconsin -1 Win

Georgia has beaten up on opponents this year that stink...(for the most part). Wisconsin has not had too many road games, however, they have beaten Pitt at home...and Marquette (who I love) on the road. Georgia relies heavily on offensive firepower. Wisconsin should be able to contest shots and have them be one and done. I'd like to pound this, however, emotions are big for college basketball. New Year's Eve game could be an emotional game for Georgia, if not playing one of the top ranked teams in the country. Also the good old unranked home team vs. the ranked road team. I'll tread lightly. Hopefully I'll be watching the game and it'll be close at half time so I can pound Wisconsin in the second half or try for a nice middle.

Have a wonderful and safe New Year's.

Adding:

Maryland/Siena Under 148.5Loss

At first glance I was going to take the over here. Looked into it alittle...both groups do a great job defending the 3 and both teams depend on the 3 to score. I'm hoping that 1 of the teams can stop the other from shooting the 3. Also, team FT percentage is not great for both teams. Hope that helps a little.

A little worried about the pace of the game...think it will be fast. Also, Maryland doesn't always slow down in the second half with a big lead. They still look to push the ball. However, their D doesn't stop either. If I am able to get a 1st half line on this I may take it.

Line for game is 149 with 1H of 69.5 at The Greek.

I looked into this one a little as I know Siena; MD has won L3 by a total of 104 points -- they do not seem to stop...

Saw the new numbers at Cris. I took the half under as well..at 69.5

One of my worries was that Maryland doesn't slow the ball down. If one of the teams has a subpar shooting night the number goes under. My guess it'll be Sienna and the number will land around 65 for the first half and 142 for the game.

Thanks for the input.

Adding:

Maryland/Sienna under 69.5 1st half Loss
UCLA/Washington over 69 1st half Win

Washington will try and run and gun to start this game...UCLA to start will also do this...but as the game goes on UCLA will try to control tempo and run sets. This could be a second half play as well depending on the score of the game.

Yes I think Siena will have trouble scoring. They don't shoot the 3 well: 26% from the arc so far this season. Their best shooter, Mike Beers, has been out hurt; he played 2 mins in the last game and didn't take a shot. Siena's best player Haddix sat out of practice yesterday to rest.:( Starting F Hasbrouck grew up in MD and has 100 people there to watch; you know what that means, he'll be jacking up bad shots from everywhere. 6'9" Mousse Diop has been practicing after being out 2 months out with a broken ankle but he's not going to help.

Only concern is that Siena's D is not that good; MD should be able to score at will.

good luck.

Look for the under in the second half of the Maryland game. Both teams started off very hot. Hoping for a big 2half number and going to take the under.
