gulp! gonna take those Mets. Leiter has a bad outing to bounce back from, which he's good at doing. Had a lot of practice this season.. and Mets are 2-2 his starts last few seasons at Yankee Stadium ( he has 2.77 era in them) and Weaver doesn't like pressure of big games. But that Mets pen....

i like the mets too, terry ray. fwiw, hp ump hohn is apparently favoring lefties. in l/r matchups this year, the team with the southpaw starter has gone 10-2 in the dozen such games called by hohn. average in the five runs scored in a game with two lefty starters and the thirteen games average out to a little over seven runs per game. i'm going with the mets and the under. g/l today.

Sele's is slated to go only 5 innings per Scioscia, then BP will take over to finish the game. Ana BP has dominated the LA bats this yr (who hasn't ), so it's probably a good thing for your Under bet.
