Sunday Plays

Figure I might as well post my plays since I am betting them anyways. See if I can get a respectable record going.

Figure after being a member for 4+ years, I might add my 2 cents for better or worst. I always seem to build a bankroll well until I get successful and then fail when making higher level bets. When/if I get hot and can contribute to someone making a winning decision, all the better. I don't claim to know anything. I am a competitor and "handicap" by reading articles, watching sports, doing fantasy leagues, analyze stats, sharing thoughts with others, memory of games I watched, etc. etc.

By posting, I hope to be more disciplined with my money management. All bets are one unit unless specified. Good Luck.

Played:

Xavier -5.5 LA SALLE (La Salle is horrible!! Xavier is 10-3 ATS vs L.S. since '97. Only worry is that Xavier might come out flat after whooping on GW at home last game)

CLEMSON -4.5 Fla St. (Clemson should outrebound the Noles and pick up another win)

BOWLING GREEN -1 Miami OH (just a hunch)

RICE -4.5 Hawaii (tailing RexBudler play. Also Michael Harris is a beast to handle)

Villanova @ Georgetown thoughts

Just a wild guess here, but think this game plays out EXACTLY like UConn @ Pitt yesterday.

Villanova playing well winning 3 in a row vs. tough competition while Georgetown has lost 2 in a row. In their last meeting @ Villanova, the Wildcats blew a huge lead (just like UConn at home vs. Pitt) and Georgetown came back to win by 2 last second FTs. Villanova was outrebounded in that game but their big men has been playing better lately (just like UConn's big men).

Hell, if I were playing with pretend money...I would bet Georgetown 1H and hit up Villanova for the 2H if things play out as predicted. Then again, I might pick six lucky numbers and call in sick on Monday too.

Adding OHIO ST -2 Wisconsin (every remaining game on the schedule IS the tourney for Ohio St. Like them at home. Not going to reinvent the wheel here. Going with the popular but profitable trend of unranked fave vs. ranked team). GL

Well, not a stellar debut in posting my plays...but not a horrible one.

Xavier - came out flat and got beat by the lowly Explorers.
Clemson - nice win.
BG - not sure what happened there, but I'll take a push
Rice - never a doubt. thanks RexBudler for the extra push I needed to play it
Ohio St. - bad add on pick as Wisky shot well the entire game

Villanova - would have won some pretend money$

Looks like I need to do more analysis and stick with my initial strong plays and limit the add ons to a minimum going forward.

NCAA Record: 2-2-1 (mainly due to betting early lines)

Will post some plays if I see value.
