i'm gonna try to stay consistent and hit half my picks...
buffalo (-4.5) 2 units. i really, really hate going against a hot team. the titans have covered 10 of their last 12. but they're doing it with smoke and mirrors. eventually it has to catch up with them. last week, their offense scored 3 points. 3 POINTS!!! i have no idea how the bills will get it done today, but they will.
houston (+9) 1 unit. sure, indy stepped it up for the monday night game against cincy. but let's not forget how much this team has struggled down the stretch. laying 9 on the road? gotta take those points.
tampa/cleveland over (37) 1 unit. i can offer no rational explanation. like stephen colbert, i'm just going with my gut on this one.
jacksonville (-3) 2 units. only factors keeping this from being a bigger play is david gerrard and injuries to taylor and jones-drew (or is it drew-jones?). have to believe after last week's ugly display at tennessee, the jags offense will be even more conservative. :scared however, their defense has been dominant at home. they may only need 10 points to cover this spread.

denver (-3) 1 unit. cutler is quickly improving. his completion % has increased 10 percentage points each game. his yards and passer rating have increased each game. he got his first win last week. maybe the biggest concern is 6 fumbles in 3 games. :scared who does he think he is? daunte culpepper?
