got back into the black with the college kids yesterday... hopefully i can do the same with the pros today. last week in my pool, 28 out of 31 were on the same team in 2 games, and they went 0-2. this week, we have 28 people and 26 are on one team. me likey.
jacksonville (-3)2 units. gerrard is back for the jags, which is huge. other than 2 kick returns sunday night, the chargers looks AWFUL. teams have been able to shut down tomlinson this year, and the jags should be no exception. chargers on the road this year... losses by 24, 7, & 18, with their only win at denver.
atlanta (+3) 1 unit. tampa on the road this year... losses by 14, 19, & 7, with their only win at carolina. they shouldn't be laying 3 on the road to anybody. falcons have only given up 51 points their last 3 games. and, what can i say? i like byron leftwich.
miami (+9.5) 2 units. since when is not having cleo lemon a bad thing? after doing everything they possibly could to lose the game against the bills, i think the dolphins might just break through with a win here.
new england/buffalo under (46.5) 1 unit. biggest concern is losman throwing 3 pick-6's. he sure tried last week, but the dolphin d-backs didn't show up to pick off his terrible passes. he won't get away with them today. if edwards was starting, i'd really like the bills here, but i cannot trust losman.
houston (-1.5) 2 units. what's this? the saints, who just lost at home to the rams are almost favored on the road? really?
detroit (+2.5) 2 units. here it is... 26 out of 28 in my pool are on the giants. looks like 75% of the country is on the giants. yet the line hasn't moved up to 3. all this talk about the giants' great pass rush... everybody seems to forget... all those sacks came in one game. detroit is a different team at home... the giant defensive backs won't be able to cover the lions receivers... and the giants are going to struggle to bounce back from their loss to dallas. here we go with the annual ny giants second half swoon.
