Geez, tonight's ending to the night sucked... so many games which could have gone either way. Oh F*cking well, that is life. Sometimes you think you're hot and then wow! Get freaking killed and your head kicked in. Murray State up 5 catching 6 with 7 minutes left and loss... horrid ending to tonight, shouldn't have left my couch as games were going well until that point. Anyway, here are Sunday's Fades...
Michigan State -6.5 for 5* - Realize it will be a low scoring game with SLU, but also believe Izzo finds a way to win and likely cover. SLU is happy to win a game vs. a Memphis team which looked awful by Memphis and Michigan State is on a mission and should win by 7 points or more IMHO. Spartans are a solid team who should overwhelm this Billikens club. Sparty has too many horses and should win by double digits. Too much solid experience for Michigan State to have this game be close. Might be close at half, but Michigan State wins by 10 to 13 points.
Drexel -6.5 for 3.5* vs. N. Iowa - Panthers have been a bad road team most of the year and coming off a huge road win @ St. Joe's. Just don't see them playing well in this early Sunday morning spot. Dragons are a good team and should win by 7 or more. Drexel has been solid at home and Northern Iowa has been roadkill, they get beaten by 7 or more tomorrow as well.
Nevada -2.5 (-120) for 3.5* - Tough spot for Bucknell traveling across the country again (might have stayed out west after winning at Arizona on Wednesday) even if they did ever come home. Wolfpack coming off a nice win at Oral Roberts and should win this game. Bucknell in a tough spot playing on the left coast again.
Iowa +8 for 3.5* @ Oregon - Ducks just won huge the other night vs. LSU, but facing an Iowa club that has been tough at times recently. Just don't see Oregon winning big again against an Iowa club which might challenge for Big 10 title next season (or at least make the tourney) and has young talent. Iowa likely won't win this game, but might and they should make this game competitive if they come ready to compete.
GLTA, My St. Patrick's Day plays went from great to sh*t so fade away if you want. So angry how some of my games finished. Story of my year, too inconsistent. Time for baseball to begin.
