Looks like Nets and under to em. Too many on the other side of the tracks. ;)

Start thinking NFL, and you'll be fine.

the only thing that concerns me is NJ is very well rested while Detroit had a tough time gettng by Philly.

Detroit might be just glad to be here in the first game.

Wallace is a thug by the way.

Olympic had this at Detroit +1 this AM. Is there really a Leroys sportsbook in Vegas ?

Good luck

"The New Jersey Nets can be thankful that Byron Scott doesn't coach like Pat Riley.

Scott broke with his mentor's coaching philosophy after the Nets finished their sweep of the Boston Celtics on Monday and gave the team two days off so they can rest for the Eastern Conference finals. ``I think these guys need some rest,'' Scott said Wednesday before heading out to play a round of golf. ``I think we have some guys that are a little beat up, that's why I gave them the two days off. Tomorrow, we've got to start focusing in on playing basketball again.''

Scott isn't as worried about his team. The defending conference champions are peaking as they wait for Philadelphia and Detroit to finish the other conference semifinal.

New Jersey is 8-2 in the playoffs, riding a six-game winning streak.

``These six games are the best stretch that we've had all season long and probably in the last two years,'' Scott said. ``I think that's because the guys going into the playoffs were really focused in on getting back to the finals and doing a lot better.''

Detroit will present different problems in the conference finals.

Scott said Richard Hamilton is coming into his own for the Pistons and that point guard Chauncey Billups can make things happen, when healthy. Center Ben Wallace is a force inside with his rebounding and defense, Scott added.

``Detroit will try to take away our strength, which is getting up and down the floor, we know that,'' Scott said. ``they will get physical. They are aggressive. The mind-set is almost a beat-you-up mentality against us. They want to just try to beat us up and wear us down.''

Yeh well today Byron I hope the Detroit thugs come out and beat the crap out of you.
