Well that was quick and easy. Bill came today for first installment of 6 payments of $49.99.
The first gal gave me the option of getting a scaled down version of the Sunday Ticket for 6 payments of $34.00.
When I didn't take that the second gal offered the full version for $209.00.
I said I'd have to cancel. So they sent me to the NFL retention department. They gave me the full version (I thinks it's called Max) for free as long as I'd commit to stay with Directv for 12 months. If I cancel completely I pay $10 per month left as a penalty.

Are all the pre season games on free ticket ?
or just the regular season >?
With all those games to watch this fall, why haven't you put your entry into the Hippo NFL capping contest?
C'mon buddy, I'm already in.
I don't think the preseason is included. I believe that is $20 directly to the NFL.
Live streaming is free and in HD
this...get a laptop with an hdmi input and hook it up to your big screen....voila,you have any game you want...
Is this better than the pay per views that I've watched online? Those are a total pain in the ass. Constant pop ups and feeds going up,and taken down.
It sounds like I just don't know what sites to use.
from what i`ve been told the mma and boxing ppv`s can be a pain in the ass....you have to kind of get the knack for how to use the "fullscreen" function to bypass some of those ridiculous ads(some say)......i would think knowing which sites carry better quality feeds for these events(of course,i wouldn`t know) would be helpful...
the nfl is much better(or so i`ve been told)....
having a laptop with an hdmi input enables you to pretty much watch anything you watch on your computer on your flatscreen......and it`s a big difference watching a 20/odd inch computer monitor and a 55" sony/panasonic/samsung...
