Imagine if BC had a shooting gd.They would be...lets see..still 13-0.BC frontline is probaly the best in the BE with the addition of 6'10 frosh Williams.Smith is a space-eater avg 19 pts.Dudley avg 14 pts.Doornekamp is the 7' role player that just does everything well.Throw in Williams who was BE rookie of the week after the Conn and Prov win and thats some frontline.Hinnant is a solid pt and Marshall is there only outside shooter.
WV was on a run until it got beaten by Marshall and then the Nova spanking.Johnnies almost upset them and lost by 4.Fisher,Sally,Gansey and Herbert can all score.But I watched them play Nova and have some bad memories of their performance.I know there at home but .
WV will play its 1-3-1 defense,pack it in,and let BC shoot from the outside.BC shoots 29% from out there.But BC's interior defense should shut down WV's.
Close game.Marshall who cannot play any defense shut WV down.Pitt shot 3-19 from the 3.
BC can win on the rd.They are the No1 winning rd team in the BE.Lyr they were 7-3 away ats.
XU -6 over Fordham ***
Fordham has won 5 games.Dunston the super frosh is avg 14 pts.Stout another frosh is playing great Ya'akosi is there only other inside player.But they have trouble scoring pts.XU has Doellman at 6'9 who plays inside and outside.Thorton the 6'8 transfer is tough.Finn is solid at the pt and freshman Burrell can stick them from the 3.
Think XU has way to much on offense for the rams to contain.And XU defense could dominate vs a weak Rams attack.Rams are still puppies with there freshman and 2nd yr coach.But getting better..beating Richmond by 20 was an example.
XU has 5 losses but there schedule has been tough vs Miami O and Flo,Iowa St,Tenn,Miss St,Creighton and Mass[loss in 3OT]
