this game is kinda tricky, Nashville playing very well at home, they've won three straight
yet SJ lost their last time out and i'd think they'd want to go into the break on a winning note...
NASHVILLE unbeaten in their last ten at home, so let's hope this streak ends tonite, or at least get another push.

BTW: who would have thought that the high chalk was warranted last nite....? three high chalk faves, three wins for the T-VIG.

this has got to be a trap....
Colorado is 7-1-0-0 against the Wild since Minnesota's innaugural season of 2000-01. The Avalanche have outscored the Wild, 25-12, over that span and are perfect in four home games.
NOTA BENE !!! : there is one angle that presents itself in this scenario. COLORADO is ONE point behind edmonton for first place in the division...and what better CHristmas gift could they give themselves to end the first half of a "slow" season than to end up in first place.....???

Phx goalie Burke said he cried for 10 mins after he learned, from reporter and not team owner and Canada Olympic team coach Gretzky, that he's not on Salt Lake team. Some members of team upset too. They might show their displeasure tonight. Burke has won the last seven straight at home.

Remember Dallas is playing 3rd game in 4th night on road. But they are a good road team, need wins, and don't take inferior opponents lightly. Turco is 3-1 on road this season, 6-5 overall, 3-0 last 3.

AP sez MN without leading scorer Gaborik tonight. Local papers say nothing about it. Over is 3-1-1 last 5 meetings. over 20-11 MN games on road. Under has hit 10-5 Colorado at home....Roloson defeated Colo at MN nov 2, 4-2. He then lost at Colo 0-1 Nov 14. Roy in net those times and tonight, I expect.
