the cbs "experts" have one unanimous pick today. the jacksonville jaguars. their unanimous selections are now 4-18 on the year.
Washington (ML) 2 units to win 4.2. a nice upgrade at qb for the skins. and cousins gets a bad pass defense to work against. Atlanta is 29th in the league in yards/attempt allowed. they are also 26th in the league in sacks, so Washington's poor offensive line gets a bit of a break. oh, and next week the falcons play the 49'ers. on Monday night. yeah, the same 49'ers that came back from 17-0 in the georgia dome to advance to the super bowl last season.
wash/atl over (50) 2 units. cousins should have a good day and the umass football team could light up this Washington defense.
Tennessee (+2.5) 1 unit. I'm assuming palmer is starting for the cards. if not, i'll stay off this game.
Cleveland (+1) 2 units. only thing that scares me here is how Cleveland bounces back from last week. that's a tough loss to take. but we have Jason Campbell, who somehow actually gives the browns their best chance to win, against jay cutler, who gives the bears their best chance to lose. I guess the other scenario that scares me is mccown coming off the bench in the 4th quarter, when the browns seem to fall apart almost every week.
Houston (+4) 2 units. I want to play Houston on the ML, but it's hard to play a team to win that's lost, what, 10 straight games? and has mastered the art of losing close games. so i'll take the points. just like almost every indy game this year, the line is BEGGING for indy money.
buffalo (-3) 3 units. gotta go against the cbs "experts". so tough, because Jacksonville has won me a LOT of money the last 3 weeks. but the line was SCREAMING for Jacksonville money, and now it's up to 3. I think the jags get a reminder that they are really, really bad this week.
Miami (-2.5) 2 units. holy fuck, I didn't notice this line moving until just now. hopefully the dolphins can still manage to win by a fg. we saw earlier this year how much the absence of gronk means to the pats. this is the super bowl for the dolphins. what's the over/under for ridley fumbles?
Oakland (+5) 2 units. perfect letdown spot for the chiefs, coming off that EASY win at Washington and games against indy and sd coming up. take a closer look at the first matchup this year. Oakland had 4 more first downs, 60 more yards in offense, and an 8-minute edge in ToP. what killed them was terrelle pryor throwing 3 INTs. prior to that game, Oakland had covered 5 of 6 against kc. the raiders have a shot to win this game.
