tennessee (ML) 4 units to win 5.4. just one of those matchups of 2 bad teams that will come down to the wire. the titans will have a chance to win this in the 4th quarter. for miami's only win of the season, they needed a kicker who joined the team that morning to miss a fairly easy fg at the end of regulation. well, tennessee is bad, but they're not CLEVELAND bad. and the titans already have a road win this year.
cleveland (+10.5) 2 units. speaking of cleveland bad... this is a tough one. but i told myself weeks ago that i would bet against the pats in brady's first game back. it's funny how overrated he is. the pats were just as good with garoppolo and brissett, until brissett hurt his thumb to the point where he couldn't even throw the ball. anyway, with the exception of the season opener, the browns have been competitive in every game. i'll go ahead and call the final score today.... 23-19.
pittsburgh (-9) 2 units. well, i said not too long ago that it was only a matter of time until ryan fitzpatrick started to play like... ryan fitzpatrick. 9 INTs in 2 games is very ryan fitzpatrick-like. i got a little nervous when i saw that pittsburgh's weak secondary only has 3 INTs in 4 games. then i realized kc only has 2 in their 3 games not against fitzpatrick and seattle only has 1 in their 3 games not against fitzpatrick. so pitt actually has the most ball-hawking secondary he's seen in a few weeks. :scared
washington (+4) 3 units.
washington (ML) 1 unit to win 1.6. is joe flacco elite? sorry, had to ask. another battle of mediocre teams, which means the dog is live. and the 'skins are undefeated on the road this year!
denver (-4) 1 unit to win . no, i don't think lynch is ready to be a good nfl qb. but teams always step up in these situations with a back-up qb. matt ryan has always been worse on the road. he's just been fortunate that his 2 road games this year have been at oakland and no, two really poor pass defenses. slightly different situation today.
LA (ML) 2 units to win 2.4. wow, the bills are favored in this game? this has to be a huge overreaction to last week, right? i mean, they only scored 16 points and shut out a team that had a qb who couldn't throw the ball. ok, some may argue case keenum also can't throw the ball. and my response to that? "shut up, i'm betting the rams. pour me another drink."
