That was tricky man. I had the phils no total bet (well just over 2.5 very late and phils over 1.5)
But while luis ortiz is DREADFUL he has had success pitching vs this phillies lineup.
This is why i always say baseball betting is the cleanest connection to stats of any sport.
The ONLY guy with an RBI vs ortiz (in 46 PA vs phillies in the lineup today) was schwarbz. And he was the only guy with a homer off him. He hit 2 homers (one was off of the pen first off of ortiz)
So for me the choice was do i want clev vs philly wi going? Or the phillies whose bullpen has been “better” lately? Ortiz had allowed a .260 obp vs phils and wheeler .500 but just 17 AB. No extra base hits against wheeler tho and his control is better, and sure enough clev had only 1 XBH

Clevs been hot they needed a break. Remember this team went 500ish in april, and was 3rd worse in mlb or worse in most useful useful metrics
