Nova (-3.5) over GTown
The Hoyas play well at home but Novas defense has been playing very well of late. The offense of the cats has been firing and they should have no problem working down to the bigmen in the paint to finish. I have always said bigeast games are close but when you look at the two teams even though G'Town is playing well, Nova is shooting well and playing with confidence.
UNC (-5.5) over Maryland
IMO Maryland is on a down spin. The ACC is a home court division, most teams get up on the home court and UM has the ability when the come to play to rival anyone. Still like the heels tempo and depth to be too much for the terps. Hopefully McCants is not feeling the effects of the sickness he had earlier this week. Regardless the heels will force some turnovers and get some easy buckets. Maryland will give them a game but the heels from the line are my play.

ND (-6.5) & Okla St (+4)
Bigeast bball is IMO (IMO) better than pac 10 ball. Plus Irish shoot better at home and they have the guard advantage. Fall should get some open looks and that is dangerous. Thompson (UCLA's gun) will have a battle in the paint with Francis. Which will open up some other Irish bigmen. UCLA plays strong defense, but the Irish will force the tempo. I do not think Kansas is a very good team, and I don't think they have it in the tank to beat Okla St which will come in looking to win. Even though the crowd will be on the side of the jayhawks,turnovers and scoring options favor the cowboys.
