Doesn't look good, as of 4 am, for a Sundin appearance in game #7. He skated for about 40 minutes, for the 1st time in 5 days, on Monday. He also stated in an interview that if the game HAD BEEN on Monday, there is no way he could have played.
Sounds to me like he will need a very, very good night's rest to pull off some still-needed recovery.
Should he play hurt, if for no other reason than to give his teammates an emotional lift? As a Leafs fan, I sure as hell think so, but who knows? -- maybe having a healthy player take his spot would be the smarter move.
Either way, he won't be at 100%. Joe Nieuwendyk played reasonably well last game--not at 100%--but Sundin is a whopping key to the Leafs scoring ability.
Sens should be hard pressed to score, too.
What happened to the +105s we were getting on the 4.5 totals earlier?...chit...
under looks good, but -125 is unappetizing.
No more Sundin news expected until probably late afternoon--maybe even a gametime decision. Either way, like I say, he won't be at 100%.
-130 makes me a spectator (-105 would still make me a spectator, but I'm pulling for my series play, and at least 36 other reasons (as in years)).
Belfour vs Lalime is, obviously, the Leafs greatest hope tonight.
