hi guys... thought I'd throw in my thoughts on the big game today!
1st.... I think Peyton Manning is the greatest qb of our era... his leadership and abilities to read defenses, call plays and make throws are unmatched. and he rarely gets sacked....
A certain Hall of Famer...
2nd.... While a different style qb, I think Drew Brees is also outstanding, a great team leader and has a great arm and reads defenses very well...
sometimes he will try to force a perfect throw and gets picked...
Hopefully he will rein in that tendency today!
A few more years like these last few... and he's a Hall of Famer too... we shall see!
Leading into this game
*Colts played 2 good defensive teams that had young, inexperienced qb's... and beat them.
*Saints played 2 good offensive teams that had veteran, Hall of Fame-type qbs... dominated the first one, and got a bit lucky on the second w/their opportunistic defense and turnovers
Colts may try to run and control the clock, but I don't see that happening, w/all the blitzing that Saints do, I see some big plays being made.
I see great offense on both sides of the field... and don't think either defense will be able to stop the pass....
I see alot of big plays both ways... alot.... really... alot.
Barring lopsided amt of turnovers, I see a shootout all the way.... last team that scores wins!
Somehow, someway... I think that's New Orleans today.
So...
I will take SAINTS (+ 5.5 earlier and bought to 6 and 7) and some ML too!
and OVER 56.5
OVER.... 4 units
Parlay Saints ml and Over... 1.5 pays 6
Par Saints +6 and +7 and over... 2.3 pays 5.5
forgot... did play 1h under for 1 unit too!
PROPS - all small bets
*Saints + half pt in each qtr
*Brees over 2 td passes
*Manning over 2.5 td passes
HEDGE PROPS =
Colts to win by 7-12 pts (pays 4-1)
Colts to win by 13-18 (pays 6-1)
so.... maybe the smart money is on colts and under??
time tells all tales.....
:mj07: :mj07: :mj07: :mj07:
I hope its an exciting game!! :toast: :0corn
