may be right but I don't think this is a great match up for the raiders.

Bucs on the money line and with the 3.5

Skeeter sounds to me that you?re talking with your heart rather then your head. Tampa D very good and much better than the Raiders. Look back at Sunday?s. game & you will recall the Titans marched up & down the field as if they were in a parade. The Titans shot them self?s in the foot. Raider D is not bad but not even close to Tampa. Tampa allowed only 12 points per game. That's better than the old bears defense under Ryan. I bet your surprised right? Give your heart a rest and let your mind decide you?re betting. GLTY

I?ll leave you with a simple but good S.B. system. Can?t recall the stats but 8 years ago it was 24-3
Here is how the system works:

Step one: go against any team which did not cover point spread in their Championship game.

Step two: if both teams covers, take team with most straight up wins going int the superbowl.

Step three: If number of wins equal, take the underdog sack

much better DL, Much better Kicker (jagoff), much better DB's.. much better RB's.

What in the HELL is your major malfunction son...you are wrong on all 4 of these....

Bucs have far better DB's, their D line is second to none, their kicker is very accurate, and their RB ain't bad either...

Take Oakland, but be prepared to bury your head in the pillow and start crying, as this game should be pretty much over by the half..:thefinger

Skeeter. I do not like being on the other side of you, but I have to disagree. Oline edge is big for raiders, maybe edge on qb wide outs and rb's. Db's and line backers go to bucs. D unit as a whole matches up very well against Raider o. Raider D is good but if tampa can move the ball against philly, they will be able to move against the raiders. Kicker? I'll take gramatica any day over the Seabass. This game is going to be very enjoyable. Think Tampa wins it though.

Remember 2 years ago, when a supposed high powered Giants offense lit up Minnesota like a X-Mas tree in the championship? Remember what happened when they ran into the steam roller that was the Baltimore D? Wasn't pretty and this one won't be either. Granted the Oak Offense is better than that Giants O but Brad Johson's quite a bit better than Trent Dilfer, too.

Whatever you're smoking Skeeter, I'll take a dime bag!!!:D

Wow....I think there is maybe 2 people on this whole board that likes the Raiders.Although I dont agree that Oakland has a better d-line..I do agree that Oak is better at QB,WR,O-LINE and is equal at RB and DB"S.One factor that scares me is how well Gruden knows this system. He was a master at the west coast offense and I know he will have something to stop it.Gruden also knows Oaklands defensive scheme and will have some plays for it.Im hoping the best offense in the NFL is on their game next Sunday and that Oaklands defense can hold their on against a average offense of Tampa.I think this will be a great game...Good Luck Tampa fans.I know you've been waiting along time for this game. Its been almost 20 yrs since my Raiders have been back to the Big Show!!!!

Oakland 24
Tampa 20

I HOPE:D

Make that 3. Count me in as a Raider backer.
I'm inclined to believe the way Philly played was more a result of terrible (conservative) play calling. After the first score, the Eagles thought they were going to win the game 7 - 0. They put it in cruise control early. A number of times Philly had the ball with great field position, and rather than throw the ball down field, opted to play conservatively and try to pin Tampa deep in their own territory. Once Philly lost their aggressiveness to move the ball, they couldn't turn it on again when they needed to. The Eagles lost their edge and couldn't do a thing about it. Once Tampa showed an ability to move the ball, the Eagles were finished. End of story...end of game.
I don't see any similarity to the Eagles ineptness and the Raiders explosiveness. You won't have to worry about the Raiders not throwing the ball down field. They will. End of story...end of game.
Good luck to all bettors.
