I haven't been on the wrong side in the super bowl since 2013. that's 2 years ago!

as usual, barnwell has a great breakdown of the game. http://grantland.com/the-triangle/super-bowl-preview-new-england-patriots-seattle-seahawks/

seattle (-1) 2 units. I don't love the seahawks as much as I did last year, but I think they're still the better team. besides, this will be the first whole game new england has played with fully-inflated footballs in nearly 10 years. I expect them to have about 15 fumbles today.

ok, in all seriousness, seattle really is the better team. and they showed a lot of heart with that comeback against green bay. just like last year, the biggest concern is that if wilson gets hurt... in comes tarvaris jackson. I have no idea how that guy is on an nfl roster.

ok, one more concern. if this game is close, huge advantage to the pats. carroll is way too conservative and that will hurt them in a close game. so I am going to play a couple alternate lines as well...

seattle (-6.5) 1 unit to win 2.1
seattle (-7.5) 1 unit to win 2.5

strong lean to the under, too. but not sure if i'll pull the trigger on the total.
