I just saw Superman in IMAX. There were 4 3-D parts including the plane crash early in the movie.

I was most surprised to see several product placements for Budwieser. One is at the ballgame where the plane crashes (guy is drinking out of a bud lite cup) and another is in the bar scene where there are several Anhesier World Select signs and one prominate neon.

Early in the movie Kittty, Lex's main squeeze, is toting around a bottle of Grey Goose.

Otherwise, the movie focused on the love triangle of the Superone, Lois, and her new beau. The plane crash in the fist 20 mins is the highlight of the film. Spacey is limited by a bland script and his downfall is

SPOLIER WARNING

his girlfriend that is without any development. I don't think she ever has more than two sentances per speaking part. You have no idea why she is motivated to ruin Lex's plan.

The IMAX 3-D was cool.

3 out of four stars, worth seeing with great action scenes but heavy on the chick-flick storyline.

i was bummed out to hear that the screenwriters decided to change "truth, justice, and the american way" to truth justice and that other stuff. they didnt want to "taint" the movie by putting american way in it. still debating if i'm gonna see it. looks good though.

Don't like th idea at the end with the little boy either.... I'm sure they'll kill him off in the next movie

we were planning to see superman yesterday but because of this thread my wife & i decided to see an independent movie titled "lost city"

lost city stars andy garcia, bill murray, & dustin hoffman (meyer lansky). it's about a cabaret owner (garcia) in havana cuba during the late 1950s & how him & his family his family is effected during the times that batista lost power to castro.

we thought it was very well done....but no special effects (lol).
