Hopefully we are all still in the mix.

Obvious play is the Giants, if you still have them, but unfortunately I do not. (Should have stuck with my initial Bucs play :( )

Looking at Buffalo, but they are a team I just have a hard time trusting.

The Pats look like a decent play too.

I've gone against the Rams twice, and will continue to do so, but there is no way I touch Seattle this week. They have a lot of issues they need to work out.

Let's hear some feedback.

Good idea to start a new thread for each week.

I'm definitely playing the Giants this week. We've had a lot of folks go out the first two weeks and a lot of the folks still alive have used the Giants so I'm liking this weekend.

If you've already used them, I think NE is about the only safe play.

I'm not sold on Cassel but yes this is a great spot to use NE. Special teams and defense alone they should overwhelm the Dolphins.

About 40% of my pool is out as well, which is crazy heading into week 3 but I'll take it.

Another I'm afraid to touch is Seattle. They knocked me out last year. I used Caro this past week and had a scare. Will look farther. GL!

If San Fran can march into Seattle and come out with a win, so can the Rams. Don't forget the Seahawks had 5 or 6 sacks on J.T.O but the end result was the one that counted.

I will be looking at Buffalo and Giants/Pats for my remaining 3 pools. The Bills has a great chance to catch up with the Pats this year and I am sure no-nonsense Dick Jauron is keeping the team grounded. Oakland is also starting in the early time slot for West Coast teams which is never a recipe for success.

For the more adventurous types, I would look at Atlanta and/or San Francisco. If you look at their schedules, they may not win another game the rest of the season. Mike Martz will want to show Matt Millen something this weekend.

Good luck folks!

Not much to add...

...Buff or Giants for me...although in the long term, almost impossible scheme of things I'd pencilled NY in for wk. 7...

...Bills. :toast:

Buffalo all the way. I have watched Buffalo play the past two weeks and I am confident they beat Oakland. If it was in Oakland, then maybe it would be questionable, but in Buffalo, with the crowd noise and that big nasty offensive line, Oakland is in for a long day trying to stop Lynch and company. Plus, Oakland likely just traveled from Oakland to KC back to Oakland then all the way to Buffalo...OUCH

Agree with most here.

This is the first year for me doing survivor pool, but Im going to hold on to NYG and NE. There is no better week to use Buffalo then right now.

So far...
1.Philly
2.TB
3.Buff

Next week, full on byes kick in and it looks much tougher, early lean towards the Steelers who will be hungry after getting beaten by Philly this week.

I'd take a look at the Vikings. Actually have a legit NFL QB behind center for the first time this year and the Panthers won't be running wild in the dome. Carolina a bit over rated in my book and I don't see Miny going 0-3

Mully, tough to back the Vikes with Steve Smith back from suspensions here. It will be a dogfight IMO. The Vikes will host Detroit, Atlanta and Houston down the road so there will be opportunities to pick them then.

Just keep it simple folks: Buffalo, Giants or Pats in no particular order for me. Seahawks is another consideration but I don't want to be burned twice (got eliminated from 1 pool last week with Seattle)

I always steer clear of the prime-time games such as the Sunday and Monday nighter, players are more jacked up, being on national TV and all and crazy things can happen.

Plus I think there are better spots to take the Chargers down the road (hosting Atlanta, KC, and Oakland)

I will go with the Bills, the Pats and the Seahawks for my 3 remaining Pools.

Wk 1 Phil
Wk 2 Tampa
Wk 3 Leaning to San Diego, but also might try Denver. Saints D is extremely banged up, Denver will run at will.
