couldn't agree more. I have to laugh at the crybabies re: his style of play.

Russell may be the most deserving person not to win in the history of the show. Although in Season 2 when Colby didn't win that was pretty bad. But even so ya gotta feel bad for Russell, clearly he got screwed.
The 5 members of the jury took it personal and screwed him out of 900K, pathetic

And you could see how pissed Russell was, he wanted to kill the jury. What a bunch of pussies those 5 jury members were.

Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains will be the upcoming twentieth season of the American TV series Survivor. Unlike previous seasons where a break in production occurred between seasons, the twentieth season was shot shortly after Survivor: Samoa was completed.[2] Casting for Heroes vs. Villains was done simultaneously with Survivor: Samoa.[3] It will feature ten members known for their integrity, the Heroes, and ten former Survivors known for their deception, the Villains.[4] Rather than the usual "Outwit, Outplay, Outlast", the logo for this season features the phrase "Return, Revenge, Redemption".
He didn't even get a chance to be on "Villains" season, because it has already been filmed.
Poor guy.
Although I guess it is possible that he got on it.....but I highly highly doubt it, be almost impossible for him to be on one season while on the other. That would mean no break, for medical reasons I doubt they'd allow that.

I slow-motioned on my DVR the next season highlights and Russell was in it. Richard Hatch is, Eddie George's wife, the military guy that buddied up with Richard(can't believe I can't remember his name.....Rudy?) Johnny Fairplay. Yao Man too.
I'll watch again this evening see if I can recognize some more.

Russell was the best to play the game in 19 seasons, all the jury was just jealous because he owns an oil company. The chick that won it did not deserve it at all. Wife and I turned the tv off after she won. :sadwave:
I dont think that the first montage they showed was the people on Survivor 20. I think that was a clip segment of all the great moments over the past years.
Johnny fairplay - no way will they bring him back after he walked off the last time he was on the show.
Richard Hatch - I'm almost positive that he's not in Survivor 20 because he was on probation and there were numerous court dates involving him during the dates that it would have been filmed.
Expect to see Russell in survivor 20.

Totally agree that Russell got completely screwed. Most entertaining and fun guy to watch on Survivor maybe ever.
This is how hated/loved he is on this show. My mother, who watches this show as well, calls me each week and we talk about it, she absolutely despised Russell because of the sexist talk and him being arrogant by Week 8 he was her favorite character.
He deserves the million without a doubt and you could tell he was furious when he didn't win it.
The only question mark I had about his play was if he gave Brett a chance to square off against Mick he might have won favor with the jury and if Brett loses the two man challenge he not only gets Bretts vote he might get all the rest of them. Way too risky I understand but would have been cool to see how it played out.
I'm looking forward to next season. I picked this show up at like season 5. It would have been cool to take all of the winners and they play for $10 million. Up the stakes a little for a special season.

Russell summed it up great when he said that he takes survivor very seriously, and he just assumed everyone else there did too.

I way I see it is simple. if the people watching the show are the ones voting russell wins hands down. but they aren't, the people voting are the ones he screwed over which changes everything. there was no way they were gonna give him the money, but that is why he won the 100k. everybody watching knew he dominated and manipulated everyone. hell he found two immunity idols without a single clue. by far one of the best to play the game... :SIB
I thought Russel had it won without a doubt until that last guy came up and gave a speech basically saying why Natalie should win. In my opinion that was one of the greatest sales jobs ever. He was the last to go and it was right before the vote. I really think she owes him money for his speech.
I thought the same thing when I heard it. What boggled me was that Natalie was the one that schemed to get him out!
But that speech was frigging pathetic. Honestly, I was waiting for him to get down on a knee and ask for her hand in marriage at the end of his little rant.

problem solving, manipulation etc. Russell was a very good player .......BUT.......he pissed people off with his I,ME rants and single handedly lost the game...He could not influence the vote in his favor as he did the game!!!
Meanwhile, Natalie did everything RIGHT...Never gat a vote against her...everyone liked her...She was tough and alligned with the right people so she could fly under the radar and let Rusell make the enemies????? jmo
