I can't see KC winning another game this season. I know the Charger's play lately has been lackluster to say the least but @ home on Thursday night they get it done in a blow out in my opinion.

I think the chargers are almost worse when the whole country is watching...if the raiders longsnapper doesnt goat it up they could be 0-3 in primetime... Plus this is one of those games where most remaining survivors will pick the chargers.. I usually like to stay away from those.

I think I might finally use the pack.. fading the cardinals every week from now on might be the way to go. they suck!

I'm still in mine.....me and 2 others left. Tough week this week. Lots of vulnerable teams. Even Houston is no lock.....that's for sure (assuming you have them available).

Stick with rules you set at the beginning of the year....

No road teams
No prime time games
If possible avoid division games

Barely survived the last 3 weeks with chi this past weekend, NE the week before and Atl the week before.

Go with GB if you can. Next is Hous.

Skins would be next choice.

Seattle a good choice too. Minn traveling cross country plus a division game the week after.

While I agree this makes sense in principle, I also think we have to be flexible, depending on how many entries are left in your respective Pools, how many people still have good teams left e.g. Green Bay etc.

If you are still alive at this point, you must be doing something right so it's time to plot your moves carefully and hope to win it all (unless you don't mind chopping the pot with others and again it all depends whether your Pools continue in the playoff or not).

I mentioned the Ravens as a possible pick this week for a couple of reasons

1. They only have 1 more *winnable* game and that is next week when they host the Raiders. On the contrary, I see at least 3 more *winnable* games for the Packers, Week 13 hosting Vikings, Week 14 hosting Lions (should be on the frozen tundra at that point) and Week 16 hosting the Titans. Obviously, GB may already make the playoff at that point and will not field their best squad but at this point we don't know and I'd like to have my options available, if possible

2. Ravens is coming off a bye and Browns is entering a bye. Sorry I don't have the numbers right now to back it up but these angles have been pretty good this year.

Does anyone have info on this? That's an interesting angle for the next few weeks.

Ok.. Not sure if I did this right but here's what I got..

Teams the week before their bye are 6-14 SU

Teams after a bye are 9-7

Teams coming off their bye playing a team the week before their bye are just 2-1. Det over Phi, TB over KC being the winners, and Oak lost to ATL.

Doesn't seem like enough evidence either way

I have the Chargers also, mainly because I have already used GB and Houston. Thought about Sea and Balt, but I think SD is a better choice. They have been so bad that this game is an absolute must win for them. Lose this one and Norv is out tomorrow morning.

I agree. Not to mention that KC is just awful on top of it. Seems like the perfect opportunity to cure their recent woes :0074
