Sushi

Went to my favorite local sushi joint today. It is located in a cheesy strip mall in the suburbs, but great food and the chef is cool. He is an avid capper, so is often sweating out games on the tv behind the bar while he prepares your food:mj07: today he was on west va:sadwave:

I went with:

Soft shell crab soup
Shitake and albacore sashimi salad
Bluefin toro
Softshell crawfish hand roll
Blue crab roll

Washed down with cold sake:toast:

Btw, not a soul in the place was using a fork:tongue

I like Hotategai (spicy scallop roll)
Tamago (egg Omelet)
Unagi(fresh water eel)
Hamachi (yellow fin)


I think if I ask the sushi chef for a fork he would look at me with two heads!:facepalm:

I eat more sushi than anyone in here and I use my fingers.... if need something that cannot be used with fingers, ie salad, I use a FORK :0074
