Heard Andy Katz on the radio this morning saying that--in talking to Boeheim--Gerry McNamara's groin injury is alot worse than he is leading on. Now that they have clinched a spot (more than likely) in The Dance, they are considering easing up on his minutes today in order for him to be healthy and ready to go next week. Either way, it's the 3 rd game for the Orange in 3 days.
Originally, I liked Syracuse catching 3 1/2-4 today....but with McNamara ailing, and Syracuse potentially shooting their proverbial wad yesterday, I may consider going the other way...or backing off entirely.
The real question---what's more important to Boeheim.....trying to win his conference tourney or trying to make an improbable run in The Dance????? :shrug:
