I've been in love with this Syracuse team since their rematch with Georgetown in the Big East tourney. They made me some money that game and then dominated Louisville the 1st half of Big East final the next day.

I know Louisville is damn good but Pitino is a lot like K. They can play as physical as they want and its considered good tough defense. Other teams do it and its considered fouls.

I usually do 2 brackets...one has a really weird scoring system. This year I ended up doing 3. With all the parity I knew Louisville would be tough to stop....and then this Syracuse team. Plus, I figured most wouldn't have Syracuse going all the way.

So in all 3 of them, I've got Syracuse beating Louisville in the final game. I rarely win but this year, won one and got a lot riding on remaining 2 with a few scenarios. If Syracuse can just beat Michigan, I hit the big one and that would be sweet!!!

Don't like the line, was hoping Syracuse would be favored. Should be a good one.....can't wait!!

Oh yeah...I also agree with Kenny Smith for the most part when it comes to that 2-3 zone. Its not nearly as effective without all that talent. Kind of like UNLV back in early 90's when they called their defense "the amoeba"...

Its like a 2-3 zone on steroids and I don't know why more athletic teams don't at least give it a try.

To me, its kind of like "Cover 2" in football. Its good but after you've seen it so long, there are ways to beat it that everyone knows. But throw in some really fast linebackers and all of a sudden its the "Tampa 2" and people think its some new defense.

Talent helps a lot...lol

Agree with your assessment about the 2-3 Zone TJ. Unless Michigan shoots "Lights Out" from behind the Arc I think another good wager is:

Michigan Team Total UNDER 65.5.

I want to play the Under for the game as well but its tourney and Final 4 at that...teams won't give up at the end and keep fouling

Good luck Double!

Just got home. It was a good game. Congrats to Michigan. They played a good game and Syracuse never really got into anything offensively.

I think the 2 30-footers Michigan hit ended up being the difference. Really changed the game. If you force a guy into shooting a 30-footer and he makes it, all you can do is shake his hand and jog down the court.

I am friends with the guy left in the big pool. We agreed to settle and both make some money. I need Michigan and he needs Louisville so we split it with him getting a little more.

He said he could really use it and didn't want to gamble (they had first place getting everything) so I accepted the offer. Might put a little on Mich plus the points. Really wish Wich St had beaten Louisville. A great game but a crap call at the end.
