Straight up I have NO IDEA if these 'systems' hold up during the playoffs!
GM, if you're out there you might be able to tell me if you've tracked all/any of your systems during the playoffs in previous years?

First up, one of my fav's....

Teams off a BYE, who are home 7+ fav's, total >42 are 13-0 SU....with an Av. win of 19.1!!
Indeed, they are 11-1-1 ats if line is -7.

Also they are a fine 11-2 OVER also, averaging 55.4 ppg. (37.2 as a team alone!)

At the other end of the scale....

Teams off a BYE, who are home 3+ fav's, total 37 or less are 5-14 UNDER. Average score is 31.2...The team themselves allowing only 12.9 ppg.

Also...League: 0-9 SU! (1-7-1 ats...av. loss 18.3!!!) away 3+ dog, total 37 or less off an away 3- ats win!! [Tenn]
Teams in this situation average a mere 10.3 ppg!!

So, I'll be playing a series of bets based on these 2 games:

Tease SL -1/NE pk (+100) 2 units.
SL -7
SL/Caro over 44.5
NE -6
NE/Tenn under 37 all for a unit each.

Might even get a bit cocky and tease all 4 (+300)

Risky, I realise, but these are some pretty strong angles that have worked for me all year....won't give up the faith now ;)

Good Luck all

Hey MrC,

No, I haven't tracked the regular season systems in the playoffs at all. To me it is a completely different season. So I really don't think the standard systems apply now. My mindset is totally different once playoffs kick in. I'm aware of many of the trends, in particular how the bye teams have had a huge advantage over the non-byes in the upcoming round.

The systems you post here are pretty strong...whether they carry over or not...who knows...?

Mr C, haven't heard from you for a while mate. Sounds like the american football season has treated you pretty well whilst the 'doggies' and co. enjoy their off season break down under. All the best with your plays for the weekend!:D

Hey, PAWA! Good to see you about.

Yeah, been doing the family thing over Christmas/New Years....Will certainly be back, firmly planted in my 'study' chair when the real footy comes around again tho ;)

Thanks for the response, GM. Have to admit I'm a little worried about the whole playoff 'mindset' thing myself. The good thing for me is that I actually like all 4 plays! Happy to have some history on my side!
