Tailing Willie parlays for Thursday

Willie's got 2 golden doggies so I am parlaying them with Utah ML. The Jazz got embarrassed last night in Denver and will look to bounce back in their home opener against an inferior Suns team.

Pho (+1.5) + Uta ML = -105
$315 to win 300

Col (+1.5) + Uta ML = -120
$360 to win 300

I'm playing the bronzes straight since they are both less then -150 so no point in the parlay.

i am new to betting hockey so forgive me if this is a stupid question:

you're laying off the 'bronzes' because they're both more than -150, yet you're buying a goal in each game that you're putting in the parlay for odds much greater than that (-210, -250).

i too am on willie's gold plays, but i just went ML. just trying to pick your brain i guess......

Not a stupid question at all......I am a basketball guy, I know nothing about hockey, but I do know this, that following Willie will always put cash in your pocket over the long haul......so what I am trying to do with these parlays is give myself the +1.5 on his dogs but without paying the ridiculous juice by parlaying them with what I feel are strong ML basketball plays.....this way, as long as my bball team wins, even if Willie's dog loses by 1 I still win.....with favorites I will do the same thing if they are more than -150, but if they are less then that there is no point since the juice is not that bad, and the only reason to add a 2nd team and therefore make it more difficult to win is to get +1.5 on a dog or to get a big fav down to even money or better.....if the fav is already below -150 then I try not to be greedy for the better payout and just play it straight......

The reason why I am keeping a +/- WTW running count is because though my parlays pay off when my ML play wins and Willie's dog loses by 1, as happened the other night with Edm and Col, when both lost in OT.....but there will also be nights when Willie's dog wins outright and my ML play loses, as may happen tonight with Pho having won and the Jazz currently down.....so I want to see if there are more nights like the former or more like the latter.....

I had a bad feeling that was going to happen....I should have just played it straight but i really didn't think the Jazz would be this bad to open the season....

0-2 -$675 on the night

You should just post your own stuff and see where it goes. Theres no point tailling someone else and posting it. im pretty sure everyone here checks out willie's thread and takes his plays straight up. :toast:
